The studio atmosphere was already heated after the New York Giants’ thrilling victory over the Tennessee Titans, but things truly spiraled out of control when Stephen A. Smith made a comment that immediately sent Troy Aikman over the edge.
Stephen A. Smith looked straight into the camera and said:
“Don’t tell me New York won this game because they played well. They won because too many things went their way. This team struggled at several points, lacked consistency, and Tennessee was actually the team that impressed me more.”
The entire studio immediately began buzzing.
But Troy Aikman didn’t even wait for Stephen to finish. He suddenly slammed his hand down on the desk, turned toward Stephen A. Smith, and shouted:
“WHAT DO YOU EVEN KNOW ABOUT THE NEW YORK GIANTS TO SAY THAT?”

He fired back:
“No, Troy. That was just the Giants taking advantage of a few moments. Don’t turn a handful of good plays into proof that this entire team dominated the game.” The moment those words left his mouth…
Troy Aikman’s expression completely changed. He went silent for several seconds. No one in the studio said a word.
Aikman stared directly at Stephen A. Smith before suddenly shouting exactly 15 words...
